Make a meaningful impact in an elementary classroom setting by providing essential support to students with behavioral and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs. Collaborate onsite with dedicated educators and a supervising school BCBA, utilizing your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or an experienced Behavior Tech/Para. This contract opportunity, conveniently scheduled during regular school hours (8:15 AM – 3:15 PM, 32.5 hours per week), runs from October 12, 2026 to May 27, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RBT certification (required for RBT candidates)
• Demonstrated background working in behavior settings with a focus on ASD
• Paraeducators must possess significant Behavior/ASD expertise (1:1 experience alone does not qualify)
• Ability to work onsite in an elementary classroom environment
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Committed, compassionate, and flexible approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral support to students within the elementary school classroom
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans, as guided by the school BCBA
• Accurately document behavioral observations and progress
• Assist the classroom team in creating a positive and structured learning environment
• Adjust strategies as needed to address student needs
• Communicate proactively with teachers, therapists, and families regarding student progress and challenges
