Inventory Coordinator Opportunity

Aerotek is hiring now for Inventory Coordinators in Merritt Island, FL!

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to support warehouse and production operations by ensuring accurate inventory tracking, material flow, and timely kitting. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficiency across receiving, storage, and distribution processes within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and kit materials, supplies, and equipment according to established procedures
Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for damage or discrepancies
Accurately record inventory transactions using scanners and inventory management systems
Pull, package, and deliver kitted parts to support production work orders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations
Strong understanding of cycle counting and inventory accuracy practices
Familiarity with inventory systems and handheld scanners
Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment
Ability to perform kitting, pulling, and packaging for production support
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
