Job Description
QAD is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating laser engraving machines to produce high-quality, custom-engraved products.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate laser engraving equipment
- Run jobs according to specifications and production schedule
- Ensure engraved products meet quality standards
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on laser machines
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Report to the production supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Laser Operator or Laser Engraver preferred
- Familiarity with EZCADZ (YAG) and/or CORELDRAW (CO2) software is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and file specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
