Job Title Head Field Hockey Coach Job Summary Wheaton College, an NCAA Division III institution located in Norton, Massachusetts, is seeking a motivated, energetic, passionate and caring individual to lead our field hockey program. Responsibilities Prepare the team for a full intercollegiate varsity season, including in‑season training sessions. Develop a recruiting plan and evaluate, identify, and recruit qualified student‑athletes. Assist in preparing and managing operating, recruiting, and fundraising budgets. Commit to working and teaching within an environment that embraces the holistic development of the student‑athlete. Serve in an administrative capacity as directed by the Athletic Administration. Ensure compliance with all NCAA Division III, NEWMAC, and Wheaton College rules and regulations. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years of collegiate playing and/or coaching experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess the skills, abilities, and knowledge to demonstrate all aspects of field hockey coaching. Ability to work independently and work evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications 2–3 years of collegiate coaching experience. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated hiring or recruitment range for this position is $55 – $60 k. The actual salary will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience. A competitive benefits program is offered.
