This facility is Richmond's largest delivery center with a 40-bed Level III NICU, featuring a state-of-the-art single-family room NICU environment. The hospital provides comprehensive neonatal services with 24/7 in-house coverage and collaborates with on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists.

Job Details:
• Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU• Collaborate with a dedicated group of Neonatologists providing continuous 24/7 in-house coverage• Utilize advanced therapies such as HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia• Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists to ensure comprehensive care• Coordinate with a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergency situations• Deliver care in a single-family room NICU model that prioritizes family-centered care• No requirement to cover the newborn nursery, focusing exclusively on NICU patients• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and collaborative clinical research• Contribute to a team culture that values innovation, education, and compassionate family support• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine• Board Certification in Pediatrics required• Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain Virginia license required• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred• Not accepting Locums candidates or visa candidates
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
