Find out how you can become one of the people who drive our mission of Putting Patients First.**Physical Therapist - Per Diem - Inpatient Therapy**At NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our work continues to help patients reach their full potential. Join our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality rehabilitation for our patients throughout the continuum of care including acute care, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation.This is a per diem position working regular Saturdays (minimum of 2 shift/month, but maximum of 18 hours a week that includes Saturdays . This position is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.**Preferred Criteria*** Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy* American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership* Certification in Maitland and/or McKenzie treatment approach or relevant coursework**Required Criteria*** At least 5 years of experience practicing in the outpatient orthopedic therapy setting* Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy* New York State Physical Therapist License within one year of hire* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart AssociationJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
