Senior Remote Services Commercial Engineer

Overview Senior Remote Services Commercial Engineer to join the Honeywell Building Automation team in Cleveland, OH. Part of the Global Remote Buildings Operation Team providing 24/7 Engineering Response and Support to Honeywell Connected Sites under a defined Service Level Agreement (SLA). You will be part of office-based teams and serve as the first point of contact for the contracted customer base. You will help ensure customer issues are resolved in the most expedient way possible, via Remote Fixes and Escalations to Field Engineering Teams, and by directly interfacing with customers. Some national travel to customer sites may be required (currently less than once per month). Hybrid working is possible, but the role is based in Cleveland, OH and attendance at the office is expected 3 days per week. Initial 90 days of training would be 5 days per week in the Cleveland office. You will be based at the Independence, OH office and report to the Senior Field Service Manager. Key Responsibilities Commercial Opportunity Ownership Identify T&M and SPOT opportunities from connected contracts through: Alarm analytics, system performance issues, and recurring faults Remote diagnostics and engineering insights Gaps in contracted scope or emerging customer needs Define and scope technical solutions Corrective works Remote optimization activities Minor enhancements or engineering changes Develop and support pricing of T&M and SPOT opportunities Estimating remote and field effort Supporting commercial teams with cost inputs and technical justification Ensuring alignment with standard pricing frameworks and margins Convert identified opportunities into executable work orders Work with Service Account Managers and Sales / Commercial stakeholders Track and manage execution and closure Ensure delivery aligns with defined scope Monitor completion, customer acceptance, and revenue realization Drive attach rate and revenue growth from installed base and connected services portfolio Support bundling of remote services into renewals and contract expansion activities Qualifications You Must Have Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in Maintenance, Repair, Installation & Operation of BEMS Minimum of 2 years of experience working on Building Energy Management Systems Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with customers in person or over the phone Exposure to identifying or supporting service revenue opportunities (T&M, SPOT, upgrades) is desirable We Value Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities Commercial awareness and ability to identify value-based opportunities Experience working in remote operations centres / digital services Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science or related discipline Knowledge of managed services or connected building platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr Honeywell INC.
