Electrical Source Inspector

Overview Industry: Aerospace/Defense Position: Electrical Source Inspector Location: North Jackson, OH Frequency: 1 to 2 visits per month - 1099 Duration: On-going contract Verify Inc. is seeking an experienced Source Inspector to perform inspections on Printed Wire Boards (PWBs) and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) at supplier sites in North Jackson, OH. This is a critical role requiring expertise in electronics inspection and familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards. This flexible, part-time role is an excellent opportunity for retirees with extensive electronics inspection experience who are looking to stay engaged and make a meaningful contribution to the aerospace and defense industry. Key Responsibilities Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies, focusing on printed boards. Review and verify parts against engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications. Document and report inspection results (accept/reject) directly to the customer using web applications or Microsoft Office tools. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. Experience Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in electronics inspection, specifically with printed boards, in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments. Certifications Required: IPC-600 Certification (preferred) Comprehensive knowledge of electronics and defense requirements. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in reporting inspection results. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in electronics inspection, specifically with printed boards, in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
