Tableau Developer

Position Overview CG Infinity is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain data visualization solutions that empower business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, data modeling, and storytelling through data, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud Translate business requirements into scalable and intuitive data visualizations Build and optimize data sources, extracts, and dashboards for performance and usability Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights Conduct data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy Implement best practices in data visualization, dashboard design, and governance Maintain and enhance existing Tableau reports and dashboards Integrate Tableau with various data sources (SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.) Support data-driven decision-making through compelling storytelling and analyticsDocument solutions, processes, and technical designs Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field 3+ years of experience in Tableau development Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and/or Tableau Cloud Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle) Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts Experience building dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with ETL processes/tools (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica, dbt, or similar) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of scripting languages (Python or R) for data analysis Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Data Analyst) Key Competencies Data storytelling and visualization design Attention to detail and data accuracy Performance optimization Collaboration and teamwork Client-facing communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Get to Know Us CG Infinity, Inc. is a technology consulting firm that was founded in 1998.
