Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview Location: Virginia Beach, VA Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records. This position is on-site in Virginia Beach, VA, and the pay ranges from $15–$17/hr depending on experience. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation Review invoices for proper approvals and coding Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain vendor records and ensure current documentation is on file Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications 1–3 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and company holidays Retirement savings plan Professional development opportunities Collaborative and team-oriented culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
