Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time position in a fast-paced environment responsible for filing, accounts payable entry, check run processing, credit card coding and processing, assist in month end close, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities/Duties Coding and entry of vendor invoices Researching payments to vendors Responding to vendor inquiries Scanning/Filing of accounts payable records Processing weekly check runs Credit card coding and processing Processing monthly rents Assisting with timely month-end close Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in accounts payable and/or currently working on accounting degree Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Education and Experience High School Diploma/GED 1-2 years accounting experience Physical Requirements Position requires working at a desk at an office for periods of time up to eight hours.
