Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a supportive school team in Acton, MA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and significant behavioral needs within a structured special education environment.

The RBT will provide intensive behavioral and classroom support to high-needs students while collaborating closely with teachers, behavior specialists, and multidisciplinary staff to help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social success.

Responsibilities
Provide direct behavioral support to students with autism and high behavioral needs
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelity
Support students in classroom, behavioral, and transitional settings throughout the school day
Utilize de-escalation strategies and proactive behavior management techniques
Collect and maintain accurate behavior tracking and progress data
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and support staff
Foster a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Assist students with communication, social skills, and daily routines as needed
Qualifications
Required:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Ability to work effectively in structured special education settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Prior school-based experience
Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and significant behavioral challenges
Familiarity with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), behavior tracking, and de-escalation strategies
SafetyCare training strongly preferred
