RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM

• Patient ratio of 1:6

• Every other weekend requirement

• On call for low census situations

• Rotate holidays with permanent staff

• Must have 2 years of experience and 1 travel assignment

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS

• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue

• Must be flexible with changing assignments during shift

• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care and JFW units

• Work with telemetry monitoring on different units

• Handle ventilators including BIPAP, CPAP, vapotherm, and Draegar

• Use MEDITECH EMR charting system

• Floor specific orientation provided

• Strict 75-mile radius rule applies

• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks

• BSN not required

This major medical facility is a 483-bed main campus providing comprehensive acute care services. The hospital offers 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, has charge nurses on all units, and maintains CNA support with ratios of 1:8 to 1:10. The facility provides specialized services including PICC line placement and features telemetry monitoring capabilities across multiple units.
