RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience and 1 travel assignment
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call requirement for low census situations
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue
• Must be flexible with changing assignments during shift
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Work with telemetry monitoring and various ventilation equipment including BIPAP, CPAP, and vapotherm
• Strict 75-mile radius rule from facility
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• BSN not required

This comprehensive healthcare facility is a 483-bed main campus hospital providing acute care services to the community. The facility features multiple specialized units including ICU, emergency department, cardiology, orthopedic/neurology, oncology, and acute care services. The hospital maintains 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy services, has an in-house OB/neonatologist, IV team with PICC capabilities, and offers telemetry monitoring across various units. The organization emphasizes quality patient care and maintains modern equipment and technology to support diverse medical needs.
