Director of Marketing & Business Development

Director of Communications & Business Development We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven leader to serve as our Director of Communications & Business Development. This highly visible role will drive growth, strengthen community trust, expand referral partnerships, and advance the reputation of our skilled nursing and senior living communities in Massachusetts. Working closely with Executive Directors, Admissions Teams, Clinical Leadership, and Operations, you will help position our centers as the preferred choice for post-acute, long-term care, and senior living services. What You'll Do Strengthen Market Presence & Brand Reputation Serve as a visible ambassador for our organization throughout the communities we serve. Conduct ongoing market assessments to identify competitive advantages, emerging trends, and unmet community needs. Develop strategies that differentiate our centers and highlight our clinical strengths and quality outcomes. Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and reputation management across all locations. Lead Marketing & Communications Initiatives Oversee digital marketing efforts, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and educational content. Develop marketing materials, presentations, brochures, advertising campaigns, and community outreach resources. Coordinate public relations efforts, media opportunities, community partnerships, and promotional campaigns. Plan and support community events, educational programs, professional conferences, and outreach initiatives. Drive Growth & Referral Development Develop regional business development strategies that increase admissions, occupancy, and payer mix. Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, and other referral sources. Collaborate with center leadership to identify growth opportunities and implement market-specific strategies. Enhance Customer Experience & Community Trust Partner with operational and clinical teams to support customer service initiatives and reputation-building efforts. Analyze resident, family, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend and implement programs that strengthen satisfaction, trust, and community engagement. What Success Looks Like Increased admissions and occupancy Stronger referral relationships and referral growth Increased brand awareness and community engagement Enhanced customer satisfaction and reputation Consistent execution of marketing and business development strategies across all centers What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Five or more years of experience in healthcare marketing, business development, admissions, community relations, or senior living. Proven success building referral networks and driving organizational growth. Strong understanding of skilled nursing, senior living and post-acute care. Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel throughout Massachusetts. Why Join Us?
