Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess the individual needs of patients and craft customized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to support improvements in patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive care that addresses the whole person.
• Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide guidance and insight to patients and their caregivers regarding therapy approaches that foster ongoing progress at home.
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients maintain their trajectory towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for continuing education and support for advanced certifications

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification needed
