Public Information Specialist

Responsibilities include: Writing news releases, feature stories, newsletters, and other communications. Creating content for websites, social media, print publications, and marketing materials. Attending events to capture photography, video, and stories. Conducting interviews with staff, students, and community partners. Supporting branding, marketing, and public relations initiatives. Assisting with website content management and digital communications. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must meet the Civil Service qualifications for the Public Information Specialist title through education and/or experience. A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered in accordance with Civil Service requirements.
