BrightStar Care St. Croix Valley & Hudson is looking for a self-motivated, compassionate Home Care Scheduler to join our team!

This is a people-focused position that plays an important role in ensuring our clients receive consistent, reliable care. The Home Care Scheduler is the communication hub between our clients, caregivers, and office team , making sure everyone has the information and support they need.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with a variety of people, and finding solutions when things don't go according to plan. If you are organized, calm under pressure, customer-service minded, and have a "get it done" attitude , we'd love to meet you!

This is a fast-paced office environment where flexibility, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential to success.

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Scheduler, you will coordinate daily schedules and serve as a key point of contact for clients and caregivers.

• Coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure client shifts are appropriately staffed and covered
• Communicate schedules, schedule changes, and important updates clearly and promptly to clients and caregivers
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients, caregivers, and members of the office team
• Respond to client and caregiver questions, concerns, and requests with compassion and professionalism
• Work closely with caregivers to ensure they have the information and support needed to provide excellent care
• Quickly identify and resolve scheduling and staffing challenges
• Manage last-minute call-offs, coverage needs, and schedule changes while maintaining a calm and solution-focused approach
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and field staff regarding ongoing care needs
• Help ensure a positive client experience from initial contact through ongoing services
• Manage incoming calls and direct questions or concerns to the appropriate team member
• Accurately document scheduling changes, client communications, and other important information
• Prioritize and re-prioritize throughout the day as client and caregiver needs change
• Work collaboratively with the office team to maintain high standards of service and care
• Participate in a shared paid on-call rotation, approximately one week per month

What We're Looking For

• Previous scheduling, staffing, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
• Home care or home health experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, families, and team members
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and changing demands
• Strong computer and office skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in stressful situations
• Flexible and willing to step in and help wherever needed
• A genuine desire to help clients and families and make a difference in their lives

Your Pay & Benefits

• $47,840 annual salary

Schedule & Location

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Shared paid on-call rotation, approximately one week per month
• Hudson, WI and Lake Elmo, MN office
