Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development at a vibrant school community near Osseo, MN. This position offers the chance to make a direct, meaningful impact as a paraprofessional, working closely with children in a variety of educational support settings, including resource programming, DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities) centerbase, and the Ready Set LAUNCH centerbase program.
This role runs from early September 2026 through mid-June 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule totaling 32.5 hours per week. Candidates who have a preference for resource, DCD, or LAUNCH programming are encouraged to indicate this in their application.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must meet Highly Qualified standards by EITHER:
- Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam)
- OR completing at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
- Prior experience or high interest in special education environments
- Willingness to provide toileting support as needed for students
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
- Resume and official HQ documentation (exam score or official college transcript) required at submission
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in special education programs, adapting to individual needs across resource, DCD, or launch environments
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning space
- Collaborate with educators and related service staff
- Uphold confidentiality and encourage student independence
- Provide personal care assistance, including toileting, as part of daily routines
