Restoration Operations Manager (NC)

The Position: We are looking for an Operations Manager. This position is for managing the operational functions of a residential and commercial fire and water clean-up and restoration that include all facets of operational, financial and human resources management. In addition, this Manager position implements and enforces the overall mission and vision of the company. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus. Ideal candidate will showcase their leadership skills, attention to details and take ownership of managing operational and analytical accountability with a positive attitude. The salary we are offering starts at $60,000+, depending on experience and accreditation. Requirements: Must have industry experience as a Water Crew Chief or Operations Manager. Must have good communication skills. Must have previous branch production, sales, and management experience. Previous project management experience is highly desired. Must have a valid drivers license. Reliable transportation. Ability to travel out of town. Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs. Pass background check and drug screen. Educational requirement: High School Diploma. Duties and Responsibilities The Operations Manager is responsible for the coordination and control of branch production operations, ensuring efficient and profitable operations. Engage in the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress, including being involved in the hiring, training and development of Technicians and Crew Chiefs. Assist in onboarding, offboarding and performance management of Team Members; develop and coach assigned teams through development planning and goal setting. Ensure all customers are satisfied with all services performed and assist Customer Service and Marketing to efficiently resolve all customer complaints. Maintain a strong working relationship with other departments internally and represent DSI professionally with clients and business partners. Ensure the necessary equipment is assigned and available to each project. Ensure all employees are productively scheduled and assigned to customer projects according to the need of the customer and the ability of the employee. Ensure the safety of all assigned employees by continuously promoting safety, maintaining all physical plant and equipment for safety, enforcing the company’s written safety program, and conducting regular safety meetings with production personnel. Together with the Branch Manager, ensure variable expenses (labor and supplies) meet budgeted target percentages.
