The FW collaborates with families to build a partnership to ensure their needs are met. FW's strive to provide individualized, strengths-based, culturally sensitive, and goal-driven service. This position requires local travel and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule in a high-demand work situation. Responsibilities To ensure proper assessment the Family Worker will: Gather and understand current and past psychosocial histories. Use diagnostic tools to provide comprehensive information for a treatment plan. Assess risk factors related to the safety and wellbeing of all family members. Provide clinical direction that meets the needs of the child and family. To ensure the development of an effective treatment plan/services, the Family Worker will: Plan and lead treatment team meetings to create treatment plans/ISP. Work with team members to develop ownership for the treatment plan/ISP. Write and utilize specific measurable goals, objectives, and time frames for each child and family. Develop a crisis plan for each child and family. To ensure implementation and evaluation of effective treatment plans that foster goal attainment, the Family Worker will: Deliver services outlined in treatment plan/ISP. Monitor and record client/family progress. Provide advocacy for family to outside agencies. Evaluate and reform goals and objectives as necessary. Provide support to families in times of crisis. To ensure the development and maintenance of successful working relationships, the Family Worker will collaborate with: Consumer child, family, and their natural support system. Internal and external stakeholders. Program team members. Supervisor and organizational support staff. Qualifications Requires clearances: State/FBI clearances; Child Abuse. Requires a Bachelor's in Human Service or related field. Requires at least 1 year of experience working with children and/or families. Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. Working Conditions Physical Demands: Requires vision, speech, and hearing. Environmental Factors: Community, home, school. Working Hours: A non-traditional work schedule as defined by service needs. Education Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field. Experience 1 year of experience working with children and/or families.
