Class B Driver

Class B DriverOur company is seeking a reliable and experienced Class B Driver to join our team. As a Class B Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner.Responsibilities:Operate a Class B vehicle in a safe and efficient mannerTransport goods and materials to various locationsLoad and unload cargo as neededConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicleMaintain accurate records of deliveries and pickupsProvide exceptional customer servicePromptly and professionally communicate with team members (Dispatch, Office, Warehouse)Follow all traffic laws and regulationsComply in accordance with FMCSA regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and other team membersRequirements:Valid Class B driver's licenseClean driving record1 year CDL experience preferredTWIC required for port accessAbility to operate a manual transmissionKnowledge of traffic laws and regulationsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as neededMust comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirementsPhysical Demands:Climb in/out truck cabSecure/unsecure work loadAbility to lift up to 50lbs.Operate electric/manual pallet jackLift/carry/push/pullNote: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
