Are you someone who enjoys operating heavy machinery and thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor environment? We’re looking for dependable and skilled equipment operators to join our overnight crew. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting construction and paving operations by running various machines and keeping projects moving safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build a long-term career, gain experience with a variety of equipment, and enjoy plenty of overtime on a steady schedule.

Position: Asphalt Labor – Overnight Shift

Location: Hutto, Tx

Pay Range: $19.00–$24.00 per hour

Schedule: Overnight Shifts | Lots of Overtime Available | Weekend Work as Needed

What You’ll Be Doing:

·         Operate a range of heavy equipment, including loaders, rollers, pavers, backhoes, and more

·         Assist with site prep, groundwork, paving, and other construction-related tasks

·         Perform routine safety checks and basic maintenance on equipment before and after use

·         Communicate with supervisors and teammates to stay on track and meet project goals

·         Follow safety protocols and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times

·         Help train team members on safe and effective operation techniques

·         Support other tasks on the job site as needed

What We’re Looking For:

·         Experience operating heavy machinery is strongly preferred, Asphalt experience REQUIRED.

·         Ability to take direction, work independently, and maintain a strong work ethic

·         Familiarity with construction job sites and safety standards

·         Comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding conditions

·         Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)

·         Willingness to travel or work weekends when projects demand it

·         Able to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and complete basic paperwork or logs

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and handle tools or machinery for extended periods

·         Capable of standing, climbing, bending, or working from heights as needed

·         Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments

·         Ability to safely navigate loud, high-activity work zones

This is an overnight position with lots of overtime available, perfect for individuals looking to take on extra hours and grow in a skilled trade.
