Project Manager / Estimator

Keystone Concrete Placement, one of the largest family owned and operated concrete placement companies and industry leaders in the US, is seeking a full-time experienced Project Manager / Estimator for their Georgetown, TX area location. The Georgetown office serves the Central Texas/Austin area. This role plays an essential function in the company and is responsible for accurately estimating the total costs associated with the concrete scope of a construction project, as well as, coordinating and overseeing awarded projects from inception to completion. Roles and Responsibilities Estimating, pricing, and negotiating the price on the project. Generate and issue invitations to bid for suppliers and supporting providers. Compilation and evaluation of supporting supplier pricing. Generate and submit Requests for information (RFI’s) pertaining to the bid process as necessary. Correspond with client representatives regarding project information, addenda and bidding requirements. Prepare and coordinate the entire estimate and proposal process and submit proposals for bid by due date. Upon award of Project, Project Managers able to read, understand and provide constructability feedback on Contract Documents. PM able to lead Project Teams in the successful completion of construction projects, from the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out. PMs are responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations. Organizing and planning for the safe and efficient execution of the assigned projects. Maintaining the financial controls of the project and being held accountable for the profit/loss of the project. Developing and maintaining the project schedule. Developing the project team and holding each member accountable for their assignment. Continually expanding knowledge and use of industry best practices and innovation. Solving problems, as they arise, by using available knowledge and resources. Communicating and upholding the Company’s commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, as well as ensuring the same for the entire team. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience required in the management and estimation of structural concrete construction. Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency/self-motivation Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. #J-18808-Ljbffr
