Help Healthcare Providers Recover What They're Owed
ERISA Recovery specializes in recovering underpaid and denied hospital claims through the federal ERISA appeals process. As our company continues to grow, we're seeking a Legal ERISA Claims Analyst to join our on-site team in Plano, TX.
This role is ideal for analytical professionals who enjoy investigating complex cases, conducting research, and solving challenging reimbursement issues. You'll play a direct role in helping healthcare providers recover significant revenue while developing expertise at the intersection of healthcare, law, and insurance appeals.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze hospital claims to identify underpayments, denials, and recovery opportunities
- Conduct legal research related to ERISA regulations and appeals processes
- Draft appeal letters and supporting legal documentation
- Review medical records, billing data, and reimbursement policies
- Track regulatory and legal updates impacting ERISA claims and apply them to case strategy
- Communicate with third-party administrators and payors to determine claim status
- Use EHR and claims systems to manage and document case progress
- Collaborate with internal teams to move claims efficiently through the recovery process
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in a legal, healthcare, or claims analysis role
- Experience with healthcare insurance claims (ERISA exposure strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical and research skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases and prioritize effectively
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook
