As a Commercial Glazier, you will run high-volume jobs across Florida, potentially managing field crew on-site and ensuring top-tier craftsmanship. This position gives you the platform to showcase your deep technical expertise with major framing systems and sealants while enjoying premier benefits, a strong safety culture, and stable year-round work. \n \n How You Will Make an Impact \n \n Coordinate field crews on-site to successfully execute multiple quick-turnaround commercial glass installations each week. \n Install high-performance storefront, curtain wall, and interior glass systems to exact architectural specifications. \n Read and interpret architectural plans to accurately identify proper installation locations, elevations, and placements for wall sections. \n Fabricate and install custom break metal applications for clean, watertight finishes. \n Apply commercial-grade sealants, including Dow 795/995 products and Tremco 116, ensuring structurally sound and weatherproof seals. \n Coordinate field logistics and report job needs, progress, and photos directly to management using Dropbox and Procore. \n Safely operate heavy machinery on-site, including scissor lifts and boom lifts, to complete high-reach installations. \n Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols, protecting your crew and equipment at all times. \n \n \n Required Qualifications & Experience \n \n 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience as a Commercial Glazier (not a helper). \n 5+ years of glazier experience specifically within the state of Florida, adapting to local building codes and wind-load environments. \n Deep installation familiarity with industry-standard framing systems, specifically Kawneer, YKK, and OBE (Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope). \n Strong proficiency in executing custom break metal detailing and applications. \n Proven experience applying structural and weatherproofing sealants, specifically Dow 795, Dow 995, and Tremco 116. \n Ability to read complex blueprints, wall sections, and architectural shop drawings. \n Proven ability to direct, delegate to, and communicate effectively with an on-site installation crew. \n Strong tech-savviness to communicate job updates and upload documentation via Dropbox and Procore. \n Clean driving record and a valid driver's license to operate company work vehicles. \n Physical capability to lift upwards of 150 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday. \n Comfort operating scissor lifts and boom lifts at various heights. \n \n \n Preferred Qualifications & Experience \n \n Active OSHA certifications (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30), Fall Protection, and Aerial Lift certifications. \n Experience working within a fast-paced, high-growth construction environment. \n \n \n Compensation & Benefits \n \n Competitive hourly pay with Growth and Excellent Overtime Potential. \n Performance-based bonus opportunities to reward efficient and high-quality field delivery. \n Weekly pay cycle ensures steady and reliable compensation. \n 401(k) retirement savings program with an employer matching contribution. \n Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance packages. \n Life and disability insurance options. \n Top-of-the-line safety equipment provided (helmets, high-visibility gear, cut-resistant gloves, etc.). \n Paid time off package covering designated holidays, vacation days, and sick leave. \n Travel project opportunities paired with professional daily per diem coverage. \n Continuous manufacturer training, safety certifications, and mentor opportunities. \n \n \n About Us \n Professional Glass is a premier commercial glass and glazing specialist proud of an exceptional 50-year reputation for quality and service.
