Quality InspectorLOCATION: Jupiter, FL.STATUS: Hourly Non-ExemptJob SummaryThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:Performs incoming, in-process and final dimensional, visual and functional inspections on various commercial and military aerospace turbine by following written procedures and established practicesPerforms inspections for AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and documents variable or attribute data as requiredInterfaces with aerospace engineering regarding recommendations for work instruction and/or router improvementsGenerates NCRs in quality management systemReviews job paperwork through entire inspection process to ensure completeness and conformityUtilizes precision measuring equipment as requiredOperates small cranes to move equipment, parts, and materialMaintains a clean and orderly work areaFollows Environmental Health and Safety regulations while working in a fast-paced environmentOther duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsEducation & TrainingHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentComplete specific on-the-job training towards meeting essential duties and work area performance criteria.Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM's EHS Training Matrix.Skills/Experience3+ years of inspection experience in a production or manufacturing environment3+ years of experience with interpretation of technical drawings or work instructionsBasic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and time keeping applicationsMust be detail orientatedPhysical RequirementsStooping/Crouching. There may be sufficient noise to cause the worker to raise their voice to be heard above ambient noise level.The worker is subject to hazards.
