About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Market Risk Manager to join their team, with a focus on Securitized Products. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight of trading desks across various Securitized Products, including agency and non-agency. This role involves close collaboration with front-office teams to ensure compliance with risk frameworks and limits, as well as the analysis and reporting of key risk metrics. The VP Market Risk Manager will also be involved in reviewing and approving trades, evaluating market conditions and trading behavior, and supporting cross-functional teams in new product implementation. Enhancing policies and methodologies to improve overall risk processes is a key aspect of the position. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in Market Risk Management, specifically with a focus on Securitized Products such as MBS, RMBS, CMBS, or CLO. A strong understanding of risk metrics, including VaR, sensitivities, and stress testing results, is essential. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong quantitative and analytical skill set, capable of effectively communicating complex risk concepts. The ability to work independently, solve problems, and operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment is also necessary. The VP Market Risk Manager will be expected to monitor and evaluate risk exposures, provide insights on market trends, and support enhancements to risk infrastructure and new product onboarding initiatives.
