About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Market Risk Project Manager to spearhead the development of a new team within the Market Risk division. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of strategic initiatives, particularly within the Global Market Shock (GMS) stress testing program. This pivotal role demands a professional who can seamlessly integrate risk, technology, and regulatory delivery, and is adept at managing projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end project management, collaborating with diverse teams, and driving transformation initiatives that align with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within Market Risk, a deep understanding of market risk regulatory requirements, and the ability to lead complex programs in a highly regulated environment. Applicants for the VP, Market Risk Project Manager position at the company should possess a minimum of 4 years' experience in financial services, with a specific focus on project and program management within Market Risk. A solid grasp of market risk regulatory requirements and stress testing frameworks is essential. The role requires a proven track record in leading cross-functional programs and excellent skills in stakeholder management, communication, and organization. Experience with data tools such as Python, SQL, and BI, as well as a background in risk infrastructure initiatives, is a plus. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of translating business and regulatory needs into actionable plans, and will be instrumental in executing initiatives that enhance data, infrastructure, and tooling in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting.
