Order Processing Specialist

Order Processing Specialist – 6 Month Contract Position Summary Responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of customer orders throughout the order fulfillment lifecycle. Supports manufacturing operations by coordinating order planning, maintaining system data integrity, and aligning with production schedules and plant capacity. Partners with Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end customer order execution (accuracy, compliance, timeliness) Review, validate, and maintain customer order data for integrity and accuracy Schedule orders against production lead times, capacity, and customer requirements Track milestones and maintain order status in SAP , Symmetry , and other systems Coordinate engineering activities to meet customer commitments Maintain accurate ship dates aligned with production schedules Use capacity planning tools for production balancing and level loading Monitor order queues, prioritize workload, and proactively resolve planning issues Process order authorization requests within service level expectations Manage customer complaint cases and coordinate cross-functional resolution Escalate risks, scheduling conflicts, or capacity constraints Maintain documentation for orders, engineering, and authorizations Collaborate across teams (Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service) Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (required) Experience & Skills: Experience in order management, production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Hands-on SAP ERP experience required Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (data analysis, reporting, order management) Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume environment Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Quick learner – able to adapt to new systems and processes Excellent verbal/written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Customer-focused with sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr Berean Group International
