Restoration Technician

Job TitlePosition OverviewCompletes tasks at Water and Fire Restoration jobs, as well as Cleaning jobs. Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos and documents according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies. Explains processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers. Pay based on experience.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrives to work siteComplete assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each jobPerform damage repair to include pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, deodorizing and treatment of surfacesComplete detailed cleaning of trim, ledges, baseboards, light fixtures, and more on post construction cleansEnsure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Report any equipment malfunction and or damage to supervisorCommunicate customer issues, and daily job activities with supervisor and key company staffPrepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companiesJob RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalentExperience in the cleaning or restoration industry not required but preferredValid Drivers' License and satisfactory driving recordGood verbal and written and communication skillsGood customer service skillsExperience with using mobile software to enter dataCan read and follow product label usage instructionsReports to work on time in a clean, complete uniformMust be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlinesPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsThe physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
