Base Plus Commissions ($100k base and up based on experience)

About the Opportunity

Ecore is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Specialist, Outdoor Athletic Surfacing to drive growth across a large multi-region territory. This is an opportunity for a proven industry expert with deep relationships and technical expertise in outdoor track systems and OSST (Outdoor Synthetic Sports Track) projects to influence specifications, develop strategic partnerships, and lead complex sales opportunities.

This role goes beyond traditional sales. We are looking for a recognized industry leader who can serve as a trusted advisor to architects, athletic directors, school districts, sports builders, dealers, and key influencers while helping elevate the capabilities of the broader sales team through mentoring and training.

What You'll Do

• Drive specification and sales growth of Ecore athletic surfacing solutions throughout a large multi-state.
• Leverage expertise in outdoor track construction, resurfacing, and OSST projects to identify, develop, and close strategic opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with athletic directors, K-12 districts, colleges and universities, architects, landscape architects, sports builders, contractors, dealers, and national accounts.
• Lead complex, high-value athletic and education projects from opportunity identification through installation and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Territory Representatives on large or technically complex opportunities, including joint sales calls and presentations.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and market expertise to support overall team development.
• Develop and execute territory growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Represent Ecore at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Operations teams to identify market opportunities and improve customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales experience within athletics, sports construction, surfacing, flooring, construction materials, or a related industry.
• Strong background selling into the Athletics and Education markets .
• Direct experience with outdoor track systems, track resurfacing projects, and OSST specifications .
• Proven success working with architects, specifiers, sports builders, contractors, and end users.
• Demonstrated ability to influence specifications and drive project-based sales.
• Strong consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing large geographic territories and strategic accounts.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory (approximately 75%).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Established network within the outdoor track, sports surfacing, and education communities.
• Experience supporting or mentoring sales teams.
• Salesforce CRM experience.
• Existing relationships with key stakeholders across Western U.S. athletic and education markets.

Preferred Location

This is a remote position; however, candidates should reside in a major hub within the territory to support travel and customer engagement.
