Senior Java Developer
MUST HAVE:
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills including the ability to discuss requirements with end users
- 8+ years as a Java Developer with recent experience in a Senior level role with expertise in:
- RESTful Web Service experience in both design and development using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc.
- Object Oriented design experience
- JBOSS
- Junit testing framework
- Java exception handling
- JDBC
- Maven
- Java annotations
- protocols (various methods such as GET, POST, DELETE, PUT, etc)
- Eclipse IDE
- Markup languages such as JSON, XML, etc.
- ORM frameworks including Hibernate and JPA
- Previous lead experience from a technical/architecture point of view
- Strong hands-on experience using Jersey, Log4j, Commons Logging, Logback and Spring frameworks
NICE TO HAVE:
- 8+ years' experience developing Java applications
- Strong working knowledge with reading/writing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures
- Familiarity with SVN, CVS, and/or GIT
- Familiarity with continuous integration concepts
