Senior Java Developer

MUST HAVE:

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills including the ability to discuss requirements with end users
• 8+ years as a Java Developer with recent experience in a Senior level role with expertise in:
• RESTful Web Service experience in both design and development using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc.
• Object Oriented design experience
• JBOSS
• Junit testing framework
• Java exception handling
• JDBC
• Maven
• Java annotations
• protocols (various methods such as GET, POST, DELETE, PUT, etc)
• Eclipse IDE
• Markup languages such as JSON, XML, etc.
• ORM frameworks including Hibernate and JPA
• Previous lead experience from a technical/architecture point of view
• Strong hands-on experience using Jersey, Log4j, Commons Logging, Logback and Spring frameworks

NICE TO HAVE:

• 8+ years' experience developing Java applications
• Strong working knowledge with reading/writing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures
• Familiarity with SVN, CVS, and/or GIT
• Familiarity with continuous integration concepts
