Lead company-wide operations for an established heavy civil and site development contractor with responsibility for project execution, field performance, staffing, equipment, operational systems, and profitability.

This is a senior leadership role working directly with executive leadership to strengthen operational performance, develop leaders, and build the systems needed to support continued growth.

• Established heavy civil and site development contractor operating throughout Georgia
• Core work includes grading, underground utilities, turnkey site development, infrastructure, and related civil construction
• Strong backlog with experienced project and field leadership already in place
• High-impact leadership position with visibility across the entire operation

What You'll Do

• Lead company-wide construction and field operations
• Maintain visibility across active projects, schedules, manpower, equipment, production, and operational risk
• Lead and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and other operational leaders
• Establish consistent standards for project planning, startup, execution, and closeout
• Improve manpower allocation, productivity, accountability, and communication across projects
• Oversee equipment, fleet, trucking, and resource planning
• Monitor project performance, labor utilization, equipment costs, margins, and profitability
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable processes and systems
• Plan workforce and leadership needs around backlog and future growth
• Partner with executive, financial, and safety leadership on budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning
• Build leadership depth and operational structure to support continued expansion

What We're Looking For

• Senior operations leadership experience with a heavy civil, site development, grading, underground utility, infrastructure, or closely related contractor
• Proven responsibility for multiple projects and operational teams
• Experience leading Project Managers, Superintendents, field leadership, and cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of heavy civil field operations and xhyhwjd project execution
• Experience with workforce and equipment planning across multiple active projects
• Strong understanding of construction financials, project performance, labor utilization, equipment costs, margins, and profitability
• Track record of improving operational processes, accountability, productivity, and team performance
• Ability to operate effectively across both office and field environments
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent industry experience will be considered
