About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Location

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics department on night shifts
• Float as needed to affiliated facilities, which may include locations in Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and a Pulmonary Main Campus
• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain compliance with all facility-required training, annual competencies, and credentialing requirements
• Complete required modules pre-start and annually as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NBRC certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• All required certifications must be active; nothing pending will be accepted
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months, are required
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Local candidates are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neuro diagnostics or a related specialty area
• Familiarity with multi-site or health system environments and the ability to adapt across care settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate scheduling requests proactively
