VP & Managing Director, Mid-size Pharma - US/EU

IQVIA seeks a VP & Managing Director to lead strategic partnerships with mid-sized pharmaceutical companies. The role combines clinical development expertise, account leadership, and operational oversight to drive customer portfolio acceleration, manage global delivery teams, and achieve revenue targets of $100M+.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior operational liaison between IQVIA and customer clinical development organizations
- Lead operational governance forums, escalation resolution, and portfolio-level risk management
- Mobilize global IQVIA teams to align resources, anticipate needs, and strengthen partnerships
- Own $100M+ annual net revenue targets with profitability accountability and financial tracking
- Lead and mentor cross-functional global teams across quality, data management, and delivery operations
Requirements
- 15–20 years in pharma, biotech, CRO, clinical operations, or related environments
- Deep clinical development and global delivery operations expertise
- Proven senior client management and C-suite stakeholder influence experience
- Strong financial analysis, margin management, and revenue planning skills
- Matrix leadership capability with cultural agility across global teams
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and critical thinking abilities
- Strategic and tactical customer planning with measurable outcome delivery
