Data Engineer/Architect

Role Description

We are seeking a Data Engineer / Architect to support the design and delivery of a modern, scalable data foundation. The role focuses on building robust, automated data architectures that bring together multiple data sources into a consistent, trusted view to support reporting, analytics, and governance needs. You will work collaboratively across technical and business teams to develop reliable data pipelines, standardized data models, and high-quality datasets that enable efficient insight generation and decision-making.

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines for ingesting, validating, transforming, and storing data from multiple sources.
• Develop scalable data models and schemas to support consistent metrics, reporting, and analytics.
• Establish and apply data standards and quality controls to ensure accuracy, reliability, and repeatability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Partner with analytics and visualization teams to ensure data is well-structured and optimized for downstream use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data architecture within complex environments.
• Strong experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven ability to integrate and harmonize multiple, fragmented data sources.
• Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
