Material Handler

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the logistics and production support team, ensuring the smooth and safe movement of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Mebane, NC

Pay Range: $18/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM; 3rd Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Must be able to work overtime!

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

• Move raw materials, finished goods, and components to designated areas

• Load and unload trucks while verifying shipment accuracy

• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and system updates

• Supply production lines with materials in a timely manner

What's Needed?

• Prior forklift experience is required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic computer and documentation skills preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
