Role Responsibilities Use a person-centered approach to foster positive relationships among residents. Develop a vibrant monthly activity calendar in collaboration with residents based on their interests. Plan, coordinate, and execute special community events alongside the leadership team. Arrange meaningful experiences for resident engagement outside the community, including driving residents as needed. Qualifications You should have a minimum of 1 year of experience coordinating programs for adults, along with a high school diploma or GED. A bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, healthcare, education, or a related field is preferred, as well as leadership experience. Requirements Must possess a valid driver's license; a commercial driver's license may be required based on community needs. Physical Demands Includes standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Involves interaction with co-workers, residents, and vendors, along with possible exposure to health risks. Flexible work hours may be required, including weekends and evenings.
