Open Positions Position: HR Generalist I Location: Garland, TX Job Id: 296 # of Openings: 0 Job Summary: The HR Generalist I helps create a welcoming, supportive, and engaging experience for employees throughout their journey with the organization. This role is deeply involved in recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR data stewardship, compliance, and employee engagement, all with a strong emphasis on building positive relationships. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring solid technical skills, good judgment, and a collaborative approach when working with HR leaders and teams across the organization. We’re seeking someone who is compassionate, proactive, and dedicated to improving processes that enhance how employees connect, grow, and feel supported at work. Key Responsibilities: Support a welcoming recruitment experience by conducting phone screens and coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and ensuring timely updates throughout the hiring process. Guide new employees through a smooth and supportive onboarding journey, helping them feel informed, connected, and prepared for success. Maintain accurate HR records and employee data with care and attention to detail, ensuring information is reliable and up‑to‑date. Assist in monitoring and supporting compliance efforts, including documentation, policy adherence, and required training activities. Help foster a positive work environment by supporting employee engagement initiatives, listening for feedback, and helping connect employees with HR resources. Respond to employee questions with empathy and clarity, providing guidance or routing concerns to the appropriate HR partners. Partner with HR leaders and cross‑functional teams to support day‑to‑day HR operations and contribute to process improvements that enhance the employee experience. Provide administrative and logistical support across various HR programs, ensuring smooth coordination and thoughtful communication. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 1–2 years of experience in HR support, recruiting coordination, or related administrative functions. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, communicate with empathy, and support employees in a positive and respectful manner. Solid organizational and administrative abilities, including managing multiple tasks with accuracy and care. Familiarity with HR systems, HRIS platforms, and basic data entry practices; comfort learning new tools and processes. Understanding of HR policies, employment regulations, and general HR best practices. Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality at all times. A proactive mindset with genuine interest in helping others and improving processes that enhance the employee experience. Strong collaboration skills and willingness to partner with teammates, hiring managers, and HR leaders.
