Job Details Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540 Schedule: Day and night coverage with rotating weekends Start Date: August 20, 2026 End Date: November 19, 2026 Location: Live Oak, Texas 78233, near San Antonio Job Requirements Active Texas RN license required At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Current PALS or ENPC certification Current TNCC certification Current NIHSS certification Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting Meditech experience preferred Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels Support critical interventions including conscious sedation, intubation assistance, sepsis protocols, and stroke response Provide care for chest pain, behavioral health watch, and other urgent or emergent cases as needed Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Adapt quickly to changing patient needs while following unit guidelines, floating expectations, and clinical protocols Promote a safe, professional, and patient-centered care environment in the Emergency Department Why Apply for This Travel ER RN Job?
