Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

This position requires an Adult Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts. Holidays and weekends are required. The clinician may float to meet facility needs only if necessary. Floating, if any, would be to the main hospital adult population with similar policies, equipment, and charting requirements. No on-call requirements are present. Certification as an RRT, along with BLS and ACLS, is mandatory. Experience in adult critical care is necessary. Candidates must hold an active state respiratory license prior to the start date. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. All time off must be disclosed at the time of submission. Approval for time off requests will be based on unit needs. Travelers will not be cleared to report to the facility until the state license is in hand and active. Candidates with previous staff experience must have been separated from the system for at least one year before returning. This role provides care to a variety of adult patients, including those in critical care settings. Daily responsibilities include applying advanced respiratory therapy techniques and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
