Position Summary
A growing consumer products company is seeking an Inventory Accountant to support inventory and accounting operations across multiple locations. This position will report to the Controller and play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

This position will report to the Controller and play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, inventory receipts, and invoices
- Reconcile inventory balances across multiple locations and research discrepancies
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end close activities
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis related to inventory and accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
