TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Durham, North Carolina, 27710!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: - Required charting experience with EPIC - Weekend availability required Description: Targeted start date is September 8, 2026. Virtual interviews will be conducted. Candidates must have open availability without blocked scheduling. Every other weekend is required. Candidates will float between high-risk and Labor and Delivery units. First-time travelers are not accepted. Local candidates are welcomed within a 75-mile radius. Candidates must have prior charge experience. Charting system experience with EPIC is required. Experience with high-risk pregnancies and post-partum patients is preferred. Skills in managing a variety of both high and low-risk patient situations are needed. Clinical skills include administration of blood products, amnioinfusion, and controlling hemorrhage. Utilizing advanced fetal monitoring equipment is necessary for the role. Exposure to various medical procedures in Labour and Delivery is beneficial. Candidates will be involved in direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and assessments. Participation in educational programs for new parents is required. Flexibility to assist with both routine and emergency procedures is vital. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team for patient care is essential.
