The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Paw Paw that are seeking skilled Production Supervisors. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and company policies on the production floor.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of production line personnel.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with quality control to maintain product standards and address defects.
- Schedule and assign tasks to production staff to meet output targets and deadlines.
- Optimize workflow processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a production team to meet daily targets and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
