LEAD LINE COOK

Oreatha’s At The Point | Cascade Heights, Atlanta, GA

Oreatha’s At The Point is seeking an experienced  Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. We’re looking for someone who is confident on the line, organized, dependable, and capable of helping lead the kitchen through prep and service.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can set the pace, maintain standards, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the line during prep and service
• Prepare and execute dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Help organize daily prep and station assignments
• Maintain consistency, quality, and proper presentation
• Support and provide direction to line cooks during service
• Ensure stations are properly stocked, clean, and service-ready
• Monitor food handling, labeling, storage, and sanitation
• Communicate ticket flow and service needs with the culinary team
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help identify prep, product, and operational needs before service
• Lead by example and maintain a professional, team-focused kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional line cook experience
• Previous lead line cook or kitchen leadership experience preferred
• Strong cooking, prep, and knife skills
• Ability to work multiple stations
• Strong sense of urgency and organization
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Dependable, punctual, and able to take ownership of the shift
• Comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
