Interim Controller, Asset Management | Hybrid, Boston

Position: Interim Controller (Management Company) Industry: Asset Management Location: Boston, MA 02111 (hybrid) Duration: 3+ months Pay Rate: $100-$125/hr (depending on experience) We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Controller position with a Boston-based investment firm. The Interim Management Company Controller will support the finance team during a transition period. This individual will oversee the corporate accounting and financial operations of the management company while providing reporting and budgeting support to senior leadership. This is NOT a fund accounting role. Responsibilities Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the management company Ensure accounting practices comply with U.S. GAAP Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process Monitor cash flow and treasury activities Supervise payroll, benefits, and accounts payable processes Maintain strong internal controls and support compliance efforts Provide financial updates and analysis to senior leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) 10+ years of relevant management company accounting experience Relevant experience working for an asset management firm Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GAAP, and budgeting processes Strong systems skills Ability to operate in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment If you are interested in learning more about the role please send your resume to Jackson at View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr
