RN - Gerontology Care (New Grads Welcome) Sign-On Bonus

Fulton Commons is hiring Registered Nurses Excellent opportunity for New Grads to gain clinical experience! Up to $2,500.00 Sign-on Bonus! Pay Range: $44.00 - $46.00 per hour. Full-time, Part-time. Day Shift, Evening Shift, Night Shift. Rotating Weekends, Weekends as needed. East Meadow, NY. Registered Nurse RN Duties: Uses nursing judgement and knowledge of gerontological nursing to set priorities and make decisions. Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements. Implements physician orders accurately and in a timely manner. Performs standard nursing treatments and observes resident for desired and unwanted effects. Assess & implement Residents’ care plans when conditions warrant a change as necessary. Completes care plans and other documents as assigned. Complies with the confidentiality of all resident information as per HIPAA and corporate guidelines. Supervises, directs and/or provides resident care when assigned. Establishes personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons as a representative of the facility. Provides support to patients, friends, and families. Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests. Resolves patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies. Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records. RN Requirements/Qualifications: Must have an active / unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse License Should have excellent clinical assessment skills Ability to make good independent decisions Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Long-Term Care Experience Preferred but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills RN Benefits Include: Competitive Compensation Sign-on and Referral Bonuses!
