• License/Certs: Virginia State Nurse Practitioner license (or eligible), BLS
• Experience: Previous urgent care or outpatient clinic experience preferred

What You ll Do

• Provide urgent care services at multiple outpatient clinics across Richmond
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 25-50 patients daily, depending on clinic and season
• Perform procedures including suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, and basic orthopedic stabilization
• Conduct point-of-care diagnostics, interpret X-rays and EKGs, and review rapid tests
• Support airway management and emergency stabilization when needed
• Document all visits accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient care

What You Need
Required:

• Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
• BLS certification
• Prior experience in urgent care or outpatient settings
• Skills in suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, and basic trauma management

Preferred:

• Ability to handle high patient volume efficiently
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative team attitude

About the Assignment
This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts in busy outpatient clinics across Richmond, VA. The role is ideal for experienced nurse practitioners who are comfortable managing a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The clinics operate 7 days a week, 8 AM to 8 PM, with your shifts tailored to accommodate patient flow. No call duties are required.
