From wellness programs to preventive care, we’re here to make a difference. Location Hernando County What You’ll Do As our Family Practice Provider you’ll be the guide. Meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in the health center, prescribing medications, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that contribute to their recovery, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier lifestyle. We keep caseloads manageable with 12-17 patients a day and no double bookings, giving you the time to focus on each individual. Collaborative Environment: Staffing and support handled so you can focus on care. Schedule Mon 8am - 5pm, Tues & Wed 8am - 3pm, Thurs 10am - 7pm, Friday and Saturday rotation 9am-1pm (2nd and 4th), Saturday 9am-1pm (1st and 3rd). Responsibilities Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients. Provide health services such as initial worker’s comp evaluation, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings. Conduct histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans. Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed. Promote wellness educational programs. Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited medical school. Board Eligible. Current and unrestricted Florida medical license. Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one. DEA license. BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers. Preferred Skills Experience in Primary or Urgent Care Setting. Perform GYN care and well-women exams.
